Chris Kieu

Chris Kieu, fine art wildlife photographer

For 27 years, he built a distinguished career in finance, rising to be a transformational CFO trusted by organizations across Africa. In 2022, he decided to set down spreadsheets and picked up the lens to pursue his passion and hobby for fine art photography.

He realized that one of the best methods to view East Africa’s wildlife in its natural habitat is through photography, and since most people do not have the pleasure of doing it on a regular basis, an idea was born to introduce the world to wildlife.

His works and fine art prints have a unique quality to them, displaying the distinct ability to give equal and close attention to the animals and the environments in which they are captured.

Every image tells a story of survival, grace, and the untamed spirit that defines the East African wilderness.

Chris is a verified contributor to Getty Images (istock), one of the world’s most respected photography platforms. His bird observations are recorded with Ebird, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s global science database used by researchers and birders worldwide. He is also an active member of Friends of Nairobi National Park (FNNAP), a conservation organization dedicated to protecting one of the world’s most extraordinary urban wildlife parks.
