Explore the Soysambu Conservancy Collection
The Soysambu Conservancy was created in 2007 to conserve the flora, fauna and scenery of the Soysambu ranch near Gilgil in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. It covers 48,000 acres and borders the Elmenteita Badlands in the south, and Lake Nakuru National Park in the west.
As Soysambu Conservancy is mostly savannah and acacia woodland, the area is dominated by grazing animals. The Estate is home to a population of around 187 Rothschild’s Giraffe, thus responsible for more than 10% of the world’s remaining wild population of this endangered species.
Over 300+ bird species located on the African-Eurasion migratory flyway.
